Did someone else get a new bike? Unfortunately I won't be there for the ride. Damn paycheque, can't seem to live without it. But swing by the MEC and feast your eyes on what $184 can get you during pre-Black Friday sales! If the gangs still rockin' later on I'll check things out at Grumpy's.
Alas, the new Eastside Fixie will not be out and about tonight. I tried changing tires (it came with some super slick 23c's) but the front fork won't allow much of a bigger tire. So it's time to hunt for a grippier tire, probably a 25 or 28c with a bit of tread. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thankfully our Altona pavement is usually pretty clean so I don't need much. Just a bit more than a pure road slick.
