A small ABES gathering rode around town and braved the Southern Cross course in the dark. Albert, Shawn, Tom, Jeff, Dan, Brent H (welcome back) and I enjoyed our bikes. The rain made things greasy on the course. We were joined by Myron, David and Derrick at the clubhouse to enjoy our beers.
Sunday is going to be a fun day. Any ABE is invited to help with the course set up on Saturday morning (9am – bring a big hammer) and course clean up (after the A race). If the weather cooperates we could see a lot of people racing and cheering at the park on Sunday. I can hardly wait. JS
Good to hear you're back on the bike, JS. Hope to make it down to cheer/jeer.ReplyDelete
Pencil me in for clean up on Sunday. LH.ReplyDelete
I've got some work to do in the morning, so I might be a little late, but I intend to make it.ReplyDelete
I should be able to be there around 10:30 on Saturday to help. CK.ReplyDelete
You know that you've missed too many rides when you show up, hound Johnny's sorry ass knee around the track, have a few beers right next to the bloggist, and don't, at least, get a call out. Looking forward to Sunday anyway. PdbK.ReplyDelete
My bad Paul. I'll cheer extra for you at the race. JSReplyDelete
