This week we’ll enjoy a slow ride – double-penny-farthing-with-a-ridiculously-dangerous-baby-carrier slow.  Possibly sit in the garage and watch the rain, slow.

We’re all hoping that Tom finally gets his bike so he can show us something shiny and new this week.  If not, we may return for another care-frontation to lure him out.  Or maybe we’ll join him in his garage for some slow ride fun.

Albert competed in the Provincial Road Races this past Sunday taking home the bronze medal and the award for the best jean shorts!  We all heart you Albert!

Shaun is asking for ideas for the clubhouse projector shows ie. cycling race highlights, plays of the year, the 1990 Grey Cup game, nut-shot compilations, etc.  Post a comment to let him know what’cha want.

Who’s going to the 24 hours of Bike Party this weekend?  What's not to like?!  The DRR crew put in a boatload of work last weekend to make the trails even sweeter, the cycling enthusiasm ranges somewhere between Lisa Gagne and Team White Russians, the merch wagon is delivering 24 hours of trucker hats, and the Saturday night dog fest is awesome because dog fest!  I’ve never missed it.  Unfoo-orch, I’m out this year – stupid parents stupid 60 year stupid anniversary.

In two weeks (July 26 to be exact) the Back 40 mountain bike race will be presented by our cycling neighbours to the West.  Country Cycle and Tinker Creek Cycle are putting on a sweet race that is not to be missed.  Unfoo-orch I’m out for this one too – stupid vacation with stupid friends and stupid family.
